The Lake

It's Friday and it's memorial weekend, which only means one thing....I'm going to the lake today! My best friend Kiley has an RV camped down there at a campground right on the beach. We love to go there in the summer, and it opens memorial day weekend, and since it's a holiday, everyone goes! Kiley and I have a lot of friends there, so it's always fun to be there on the weekends. This weekend, however, Kiley has a few soccer games so she will have to leave for a few hours a couple times, but her cousin is coming so I can hang out with him while she's gone. I think it's going to be a great weekend and I'm excited! :)

Summer?!?!

There's only about 6 days left of school and I am SO ready for summer to begin! Bring on the sun, friends, and vacations!

Shoes! Shoes! Shoes!

In a couple months, in July, I turn 16 years old. Obviously this means I'm going to have a Sweet 16 birthday party, conjoined with Hannah Sonner! We are having a semi-formal party we think, and that means a new dress and new heels. I've been thinking about a pink and sparkly dress with maybe some black in it. I'm also exciting about getting heels, because heels are always cute. Especially sparkly ones!

Finals, Finals, Finals..

There's only a few more weeks of school...not even. Of course that means finals are coming up, and I'm a little stressed out. I have a packet of stuff to study for almost every class, and I have to take ECA tests for my two hardest classes. I got B's on all my finals except one last semester, and I hope I'm just as lucky for the second semester!

The Avengers!

Along with the rest of the world, I went to see The Avengers this weekend. I was so excited to see it for the past month and when I actually did see it I was REALLY happy. It was the best movie I had seen this year! It was action-packed, obviously, but also hilarious! I love love love Captain America, which was the main reason I wanted to see this movie and it was well worth my time. The day after I got a Captain America shirt, which I was obviously really glad about. Anyways, it was an AWESOME movie and I definitely recommend it.

So, one thing I obviously really love is summer. The weather is beautiful today and I hope it stays like this! June is already next month. Yay :)

Jobs & Cars

So, I have had my permit for about 4 months now, and I'm going to be getting my license in my sophomore year. Driving is cool, but it's worth it way more if you have a car. You obviously need money to buy a car, which means you need a job. Even though I'm only 15, it will only be a few more months until I turn 16! I've sent out a few job applications, but It's not like I expect anyone to give me a job at this age. However, I went into Panda Express yesterday with my dad, which is where my sister used to work. We saw her manager and talked to her about me needing a job. She said that once I'm 16, I will definitely get it if I send in an application. "You've already got the job, I just need an application!" is what she said to me which I think is awesome. I don't know if I really want to work there, though. So I've decided to apply to every tanning salon around once I'm 16 cause I think that would be such a chill job.

Well, that last blog I posted was not me, it was Gabby. I promise I'm not that weird.

Hey guys, lol so today is totally Friday! Ya!! You know that song by Rebecca Black?!?! Lot's of people hate it, but I think it's awesome! Most Friday's I listen to it at least five times, yaaa, so today I'm going to the Mall to try on some new Puma's I absolutely adored! Talk to ya later!!!

The Hunger Games

So, I saw The Hunger Games movie and it was really good! Of course the books were better by far but the movie was awesome too. I wish that they would have shown the realtionship between Katniss and Rue and Katniss and Peeta more, but it stayed true to the book and I was happy with it.

Battle scars, like a bo$$.

So, over spring break I went to go visit some cousins in St. Louis. While I was there we went to Johnson Shut-Ins, which is basically a river with a ton of rocks flowing down so you slide down mini waterfalls and make your way down to the bottom lake. I slipped on a few rocks and I got about 6 scars and a bruise from it. It didn't hurt too much, it was all worth the pain. I got to swim and the weather was beautiful!

Ok, so I AM going to see The Hunger Games on the day of the premiere, I already have my tickets. However, I really was hoping to go to the midnight premiere, but it didn't work out. Nobody would have been able to pick up me and my friend, so we decided to go see it right after school. Even though I won't be first to see it, I'm still excited!

Indiana Weather?!

Indiana weather, in my opinion, is really sucky weather. the winters are really long and cold, and the summers are really short and humid/sticky. The weather is also bipolar. Three days ago it snowed a little bit, then the day after it was 70 degrees. What the heck?!

So, I listen to music all the time, literally, and I really like Coldplay and their style of music. One day while I was watching Soul Surfer, I noticed a particular song they played at one of the parts, so I looked it up and REALLY liked it. At first I thought it was by Coldplay, but it was by Mat Kearney. Mat sounds SO much like the lead singer in Coldplay it's crazy and awesome. I showed him to a few of my friends, and they all loved him. I love finding new music/music artists!

The Hunger Games

So, a few months ago I finsished the book series The Hunger Games, and it was AWESOME. I'm so excited for the movie to come out later this month and I plan on going to the midnight premiere with my friend Jen. I can't wait!

Winter seems like the longest time ever to me, and I'm not the biggest fan of the cold.  Every winter i count down the days 'till summer because that's the time for swimming, tanning, flip flops, skirts, friends, and especially vacation! Every summer I go to Branson, Missouri. Branson is an awesome town in southern Missouri with TONS of stuff to do..including a ginormous lake. My favorite part of summer is going on vacation and it's even better when I get to go with my best friend, Kiley! Kiley and I both LOVE being in the water more than anything and she makes herself at home with my family which just makes it 10x more fun! In the summer, all I can do is love every moment of it and in the winter all I can do is look forward to something as amazing as summer.

Driving..

So, I got my permit about a month ago and I have been driving for the past few days since I started diver's ed. It's pretty easy in my opinion, at least easier than need for speed that's for sure :)

School lunches..

The school lunches obviously aren't so great. They aren't HORRIBLE in my opinion, but they ARE overpriced. It's about 3 dollars every day for a decent amount of food.. i call bullcrap. I don't want to pay 3 dollars a day for lunches that aren't even that good. The reason I don't bring a lunch is because I want a HOT lunch, not a soggy sandwhich. Otherwise I would definitely choose something from home.

Spring Break

Spring break is coming up soon, and I'm really excited for it! My family and I are going down to St. Louis for about 4 days to see some of our family.  I go to St. Louis every year, and I love it there!

Varsity basketball team.

Lake Central's gymnasium is where all the magic is happening for the Indian's Varsity basketball team. The team has been doing great and winning the majority of all their games.

Art work

Lake Central students' art work hangs in the display case in A hall for everyone to admire. The pictures that have been chosen to be displayed are phenominal!

Valentine's Day!

Lake Central student's volunteer to make cute Valentine's Day cards for people to give to their own Valentines. Student's who recieved these cards earlier this week were very happy to get them.

The weather has been AWESOME the past few days, but according to the groundhog we're gonna have a longer winter this season. I'm ready for the summer to come, I can't handle too much cold. </3 I could really use a vacation to Florida.
